“Come on.” Janessa inclined her head toward an arched doorway. “The dining room’s this way, and I can totally smell Tandy’s homemade biscuits.”
In my book, “Lights, Cowboy, Action”, the Greene family is fortunate to have Tandy, “the best cook this side of the Rockies” working for them. This is one of her favorite recipes, which the family enjoys the first night Courtney joins them for dinner. They’re almost good enough to make her take her mind off Adam!
Tandy’s Easy Homemade Biscuits
2 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 cup cold buttermilk
4 Tbsp. butter (room temp.)
1 Tbsp. sugar
Preheat oven to 450° F. Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Combine dry ingredients in a medium-size bowl. Add butter and milk; stir until just combined. Drop by large spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet, about 2″ apart.
Bake for 10-15 min. until golden brown.

Butter. Lotsa’ butter. You pull it in half to get butter on the top and the bottom. If it isn’t yellow, it isn’t ready to eat. Love the recipe!

Tandy would approve of the butter. She cooks for cowboys, and they work off the extra calories.
