Whole30 Day 28: These are a Few of my Favorite Things (Part 2)

March 21, 2016

I love soy sauce. The Whole30 Plan doesn’t.

CoconutAminos

Our normal pre-Whole30 diet consisted of all kinds of Asian food, which we absolutely love. Well, maybe not every kind of Asian food. I can do without eating animals or insects we wouldn’t identify as food unless we were in a starvation situation. We’re not quite that daring. But we do love the zest of Asian ingredients.

How do you create delicious Asian-inspired meals at home when you can’t liberally pour on soy sauce, one of the mainstays of that continent’s cuisine?

Introducing Coconut Aminos! It’s totally Whole30 friendly, and every bit as satisfying as soy sauce. We’re going to use it tonight in some yummy cashew chicken. Sound good? I’m more than happy to share the recipe my daughter found on A Saucy Kitchen:

Guilt Free Cashew Chicken
