Whole30 Day 16: Do You Know What’s Ailing You?

March 9, 2016

And do you know that its cause might be something silent and deadly?

Inflammation word cloud on a white background.

Silent inflammation is said to be the root cause of a number of illnesses, and you could be afflicted with it and not even know it. Yet.

So what is this quiet threat? Simply put, it’s what happens in our bodies when we eat foods that throw our systems out of whack over an extended period of time. But if it’s so sneaky, how do you even know if you have it?

It comes out in our symptoms. Take a look at this chart from the Whole30 book. Do any of these ailments look familiar for you or someone you care about?

That’s a pretty scary list of things that I, for one, would like to avoid. But here’s the good news. The Whole30 plan can help prevent, alleviate, or even reverse them all. Don’t believe it? Take a look at these testimonials from the Whole30 site.

Personally, I’m doing the Whole30 to heal my arthritis. My daughters have food allergies they hope to eliminate. We’re halfway through our thirty days and I’m happy to report that we’re feeling good. I’ll let you know how we feel by the end of the thirty days and what our next steps will be.

What about you? Are you ready to look at making some changes to positively affect your life?
