Whole30 Day 3: Great Food, No Complaints

February 25, 2016

So far, so good!

Thankfully, my daughters have taken on the task of menu and shopping list making, and a good portion of the cooking. So, if there’s a delicious, healthy meal all ready and waiting for you, who’s going to have a problem with that?

My concern going into this has been giving up two things that might be considered vices: cream and sugar in my coffee, and my bedtime snack. In my defense, when I work at the theatre, I’m working at night and burning calories. I always come home hungry, and try to go for a light snack (until…you know…that night when all we have in the fridge is the makings for nachos. How does that happen?).

I am pleased to report that I have two days under my belt (literally) of black coffee and no bedtime snack. Yay me!

Okay… Yay Whole30, and lots of prayer.
